What is Taichi?

Taichi is a martial art that rests according to the interaction laws and clean alternation to the chinese principle of Yin and Yang. This is a refined martial art of self-defense and is also a soft energetic gymnastic that aims the harmonization of the body and spirit and incuces the relaxation states and meditation in movement.

The practice of Taichi is situated in the opposition to what we generally hear in west by physical exercise': it does not look forward to the competition or the physical effort but inner harmony between body and spirit in a holistic manner.

Our trips ally two relaxing and soft activities, the walk in middle mountains and the practice of Taichi: both are excellent anti-stress remedies and the means of resource for the body and the mind.

Walk: maximum 4/5 of walk per day. some steps sometimes sustained but without big variations. From village to village, from camps to small mountain lodges, without nothing to have to carry to be able to taste unbelievable hospitality of our guides, cooks, sherpas & porters.

Taichi: Morning and evening sessions in groups to learn or to perfect the short Yang from under the direction of qualified instructor recognized by the Nepalese Federation of Chuan Taichi.
