Then crossin the high himalayan passes towered by giants such as Everest of course and Cho Oyu or Shijapangma, we back to the sub-tropical warmth of Katmandu valley and its rich craft, culture nested among rice paddies and villages...
In Lhasa Samye or Gyantse, we can attest the great monasteries that gave birth to peculiar Tibetan buddhism and its priceless master pieces that survived centuries and cultural revolution. But we will also visit remote places ignored by tourists: Ralung,nested in a natural circus in middle of plateau, to taste the boundless hugeness of Tibet.
On the way to Nepal we will drive along breataking himalayan range ruled by Everest that we can admire from Tingri. Finally leaving behind high pass and dryness of plateau we'll head down in Bhote Khosi gorges to reach lushing vegetation and rice paddies of Nepal. A real discovery tour on the tracks of Alexandra David-Neel and explorers of yore."
